The HS PTSA needs your help. We are a small group but we still want to recognize all of the teachers and staff by hosting our annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, May 4th from 10:45a-12:45p.

Thank you to everyone who has paid their class dues. Unfortunately, we are still missing payments from about a third of the class. It is 80 dollars for all four years up front, or 25 dollars per year. Students need to have paid their dues to participate in any class events. Please have your students bring them in to the class officers by March 31st. (Checks are payable to Town of Holliston)
The semi-formal dance is coming up soon. Semi will take place at the Glen Ellen Country Club in Millis from 6 to 10 pm on Friday, April 8th. This is the class' big dance of the year, so attendance is strongly encouraged. It will be a great night with dancing, a professional DJ, and a delicious sit-down dinner. Tickets will be on sale during lunch everyday starting tomorrow, March 23rd, through Thursday, March 31st. Tickets will be 45 dollars each. Please remember that this price includes the venue, the DJ, and a full sit-down meal. There is a dress code for the dance: shirt, tie, and khakis for guys and dresses for girls.
Finally, our class spirit wear "store" will be closing on Friday! It would be great if each student could have at least one item to wear to spirit rallies and to show support for their class and school in general.

Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2019,
On February 11th at 6:20 p.m. we will be having a meeting for all parents of 9th grade students in the High School Auditorium. During this meeting, held prior to the open house at 7:00 p.m., we will discuss topics such as class dues and we will also give an opportunity for anyone who wishes to step forward as our class parent to do so.
Information Regarding Class Dues:
Class dues help our ability to fund for social events. Our class will have a lot of expenses towards the end of our senior year, between semi-formal dances, fun senior activities, and prom. While we will be planning many fundraisers to help us raise money, it’s necessary for our class to raise some of the money via dues.
Students can pay their class dues in two different ways. Typically, dues are $25.00 per students each year, if at the beginning of each year. However, students also have the option to pay $80.00 freshman year to cover all 4 years of high school. This deal allows students to save $20.00 and pay off their dues freshman year.
We prefer that students pay class dues with a check made out to “Town of Holliston”, but cash is accepted as well. Payments should be placed in the provided envelope (these will be coming) and should be marked with the student’s name, date, and the amount you wish to pay.
We are currently collecting dues for the 2015-2016 school year, as well as all four years. Students should give class dues to the Class Officers ASAP, but we will also accept payment at the Parent Meeting on Feb. 11th.
**In order to participate in class events, you must have paid your class dues for this year.
At the Parents Meeting, we will be looking for a parent or parents to step forward to act as our class parent(s). Class parents help organize fundraisers for dances and other class activities.
